I want DandelowArt to be a blog you can trust, so here’s exactly how I make money from it and what that means for you.

Some links on this site — particularly on the My Gear page, in product reviews, and in posts where I mention specific supplies — are affiliate links.

If you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra — the price is the same whether you use my link or not. The commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket.

I’m a participant in affiliate programmes including Amazon Associates and various art-supply retailers. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

My Promise

This is the part that matters:

  • I only recommend things I’ve actually used. If you see it on this blog, it’s been in my hands and on my paper.
  • An affiliate link never changes my opinion. If something disappointed me, I’ll say so — that’s the whole point of an honest review.
  • I’ll always tell you when something is sponsored. See below.

If I haven’t used a product long enough to have a real opinion, you’ll see a note saying the affiliate link is coming later rather than a rushed recommendation.

Occasionally a brand may pay me to write about a product, or send me something for free to review. When that happens, I’ll clearly label the post as sponsored or gifted at the top, so you always know.

Being paid or gifted never buys a good review. I only work with brands whose products genuinely fit ink and wash, and my honest opinion is always part of the deal — that’s non-negotiable on my end.
